College Prep Conference & College Fair
All rising 8th-12th grade students, student athletes, parents, and supportive adults are invited to attend the Center for Leadership Development’s (CLD) 16th Annual College Prep Conference & College Fair at the Indiana Convention Center on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM. This educational enrichment experience is designed to provide African-American students and adults with substantive insights related to high school and college success, character development, and more. Our college fair offers our attendees the opportunity to engage with over 20 colleges, universities, and academic resources.
Sessions for this year’s conference include:
- How to achieve college success- featuring a college panel of students
- How to become a successful and balanced student athlete
- Cyberbullying and the impact on African American students
- Financial Literacy for Students
- Overcoming obstacles through character
